Hands Washing
As we all know, day cares and consistent group gatherings are a breeding ground for GERMS. Learning "Hands On" NightCare Center's priority goal is to encourage, constantly remind and implement hand washing as part of their routine. Hand washing will be explained by a teacher in a fun activity for better focusing on the "hidden objective" by getting each child to remember WHEN and WHY to wash their hands.

Teeth Brushing
Brushing teeth Is an essential for oral care. Morning and Night routines will include this mandatory. Our Students will perform a 60 Second to 2 minute Interactive game that helps explain how and how long to brush their teeth. This may include a teacher explanation game or even a tooth brushing dance along so that your child can learn and implement this hygiene lesson in a fun and interactive way.

Face Washing
Morning routines will also include MANDATORY face washing with a gentle cleanser (provided by or approved by parent of each child) to ensure they are fully awake and alert to begin the next step in their day after Signing Out of Learning "Hands On" NightCare Center. It is important to teach face washing to children at the same time brushing teeth is introduced so they can understand importance of proper skin care before the teenage years.

Brushing Hair / Extra Cosmetics
As part of our morning and nightly routines we encourage and remind students to maintain doing the final step: grooming/brushing their hair. Gentle brushing of hair can help promote hair growth, as well as rid the hair of bacteria, detangle and gives the child a healthier, more uniformed look to finish their routine.
